Proper Strong started with a simple frustration: wax melts that smelled lovely in the packet and of nothing once they melted.
So we started pouring our own. We tested wax blends, fragrance loads and wicks until our melts and candles did what they say on the tin: fill the room, and then some.
What we care about
- Scent you can actually smell. Every product is loaded with as much fragrance as the wax can safely hold.
- Honest strength ratings. Our Strength Scale tells you exactly how strong each scent is before you buy.
- Small batches, by hand. Every melt and candle is poured, set and checked by us.
- Safety first. Every product carries full safety and CLP labelling, and we burn-test our candles.
